I’m writing to share some quick feedback about my visit to the library this morning around 9:15 a.m. When I arrived, the main entrance door was open, so I assumed the library was open for the day and walked in. Staff let me know that you actually open at 10:00 a.m and I immediately apologized for the mistake. While I completely understand that I entered before opening hours, I was really taken aback by how rude and unprofessional the staff member's tone was. Given that the door was wide open and there wasn't a sign indicating the library was closed, it was an easy mistake to make. I know rules are rules but I firmly believe visitors should still be treated with courtesy and respect—especially when it's an honest mistake. I just wanted to pass this along in hopes that it helps improve the experience for others in the future.
