This art center next to Dubai Creek is free to enter. While it doesn’t have a permanent collection, it regularly hosts modern art exhibits. The building itself is one of the city’s architectural attractions.

This district is a sort of outdoor museum laid out along Dubai Creek. The daily life of Dubai from the mid-19th century to the 1970s are on display: the architecture, traditional courtyards, wind towers, models of trade boats, and more.

This nature reserve is located in a marshy area not far from the center of Dubai. It is home to more than 60 types of birds, including a large number of flamingos. You can watch them for free from the observation platform.

This aquarium is located in Dubai Mall. It houses 140 types of sea animals and the world’s largest group of sand tiger sharks. The main attraction is the 50-meter tunnel, which lets visitors feel like they’re actually under the sea.

This is a gallery in the historic Al Fahidi region. It displays artwork, from paintings and ceramics to sculpture and photography, and the gallery space itself is eye-catching: it is located in a historic building with traditional ceilings, windows, and teakwood doors.

This is an island park in Burj Lake that can be reached by one of several bridges. Visitors come for the excellent views of the Burj Khalifa and the choreographed Dubai Fountain.

The Alserkal Avenue art district is home to dozens of galleries (including the moving walls of the Concrete exhibition space), workshops, cafes, restaurants, show rooms, and concert venues. It was built on the site of former industrial warehouses.
